Hessinger, Edward W. "E.H." View/Sign Guest Book
Liberty - Edward W. "E.H." Hessinger a lifetime resident of Liberty, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2007 at Catskill Regional Medical Center Skilled Nursing Unit Harris. He was 85.
Mr. Hessinger was born in Hoboken, N.J. on April 12, 1922 to the late Albert and Lillian Irmscher Hessinger. He was married March 2, 1947 to the late Winifred Parks, who died June 24,2003.
Mr. Hessinger was retired from Breakstone Dairies and the Liberty Central Schools. Mr. Hessinger was a member of the White Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church, Past Director and member of the White Sulphur Springs Fire Dept., President of the Skilled Nursing Unit Residents Council at Catskill Regional Medical Center, and a member of the White Sulphur Springs Cemetery Corp.
Mr. Hessinger is survived by one son, Robert of Youngsville; two daughters: April Kissel and husband, Joseph of White Sulphur Springs, and Janet Fritzinger of Poughkeepsie; six grandchildren: Christopher Austin, Kevin Austin, Amy Black, Jessica Hessinger, Andrew Hessinger, and Bethany Fritzinger; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 9, (today) from 7-9 p.m. at Ramsay's Funeral Homes Inc., 275 South Main Street, in Liberty.
Firematic services will be conducted by the White Sulphur Springs Fire Dept at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 10, at 11 a.m. Mr. Hessinger's daughter Janet Fritzinger will officiate.
Interment will be following the service at Laurel Hill Cemetery Cox Road White Sulphur Springs.
