give this my best shot (just got an e back from a cousin said he couldn't
read my mail.Ididn't know I had a problem, so let me know what you get here)
Ok on to the photo.
back row 3rd from left Uncle Syke with the vest, next Silas' son George
Lacey? I think, Grandma Rose's head next, I see Grandpa Lacey, beside
him is Josephine for sure. Great Great Aunt Mate is in front of them, In
front with light blouse skirt and baby is Beatrice Lacey George's wife,
Uncle Silas Benedict in white shirt and white hair (only ever saw him in
photos), back row far right chubby guy may have been Roy Hakes. I don't
recognize any of those young kids. Probably some are George and Beatrice's
family. I'm guessing the photo would be sometime around 1945 or maybe
earlier.
I'm kinda
thinking that the house looks like Mate and Silas Benedicts at Susquehanna.
It was old Victorian, needed paint, and had some stained glass windows and
sat on a back overlooking the river.It was a really huge house for two
people who had no children. Does the photo say taken in Middletown
