1. Near Livingston Manor
- Fred - June 28, 2003, LibertyNY Message 7283, postcard 3, is titled
"near Livingston Manor". This may be somewhere on the Debruce
Road, and the sheep may be D.B. Ward,s. Perhaps that building can give us a
better answer of its exact location, if it still exists.
- Harold - June 28, 2003, Another hint about its location are the trees on
the right. The trees are in a row which means they were planted and their
age appears to be 30-50 years. If the postcard was about the turn of the
century that would make the time about 1860 that the trees were planted. It
looks like there might be another road that runs in front of the house that
this trail crosses or joins. This would be about the time that DeBruce was
developed.
2. Approaching Parksville
- Fred - June 28, 2003, LibertyNY Message 7284, postcard 2a, I believe shows
the bridge crossing over the Little Beaverkill at Morsston.
