This photo was published in the 1882-1982 LM Centennial
booklet and Gretta Spriggs provided it. This same photo has been printed in a
number of areas and I believe including the original Pioneer that was
published in 1939 for the opening of the brand new LMCS.

A map of Livingston Manor in
1875. It was a couple of years after the railroad came through and was call
Purvis and Morsston Depot where the railroad station was located. Note
that the main part of town was at the intersection of the DeBeuce road and
Old 17 and Main street wasn't there yet.
Another interesting point is the
distance from Pearl Street to the Little Beaverkill (by Doc Denmans). It
looks like the Little Beaverkill was located in a different place in 1875.
Anyone have any comments on this.
