Many of the current residents of Sullivan County NY (as well as residents of other NY counties and many other states across the United States) descend from George and Elizabeth Purvis who were early settlers of Sullivan County. Below is a list of couples whose offspring (assuming they had offspring) and their progeny on down (if a different surname) who descend from George and Elizabeth Purvis of Livingston Manor (Town of Rockland, Sullivan Co NY).
