This was Dick Sturdevant's
Grandfather's Farm/boarding house in Parkston that was bought by Mike
Friedman's parents and turned into the Parkston House Hotel.
It was located across the bridge on the corner of the road that goes to
Beaver Lake and was torn down several years ago. Dick's grandfather was the first with a car and would always go to meet the train to pick up boarders. According to Dick Sturdevant, the driver is his Uncle Harry Sturdevant who had the garage on main street Livingston Manor. - Harold |
