Neversink Turnpike - 1844
|May 7, 1844 - A Company was Incorporated to build a
turnpike from Napanock to Parksville which was the route that the tanning
industry in DeBruce would use to receive hides and return the tanned leather
from the D-H canal for the Civil war.
