Dear Golden Alumni and the “Class of 1958”, (Alumni celebrating over 50 years are invited EVERY year)

Please join us in honoring the “Class of 1958” as they celebrate their “50th” class reunion.

The 2008 Golden Alumni Dinner will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at King’s Catering. It is very important to note that there are some changes. We will not be offering a separate luncheon this year, but to try to encourage our yearly luncheon attendees to join us at King’s where we will be holding the Golden Alumni Dinner at an earlier time. The seating at King’s for the Golden Alumni will be in the smaller/ fireplace room. Many of our Golden Alumni enjoy this quieter atmosphere.

The program on Saturday evening for the Golden Alumni will include the following:

Social Hour: 4:00pm - 5:00pm- cash bar and hors d’ oeuvres

Dinner: 5:00pm - 9:00pm * please note that there will be a buffet this year which will include many hot dishes and a prime rib carving station. There will also be many cold items on the buffet. Salad, rolls, coffee, and desert will be served at the table.

Entertainment: 9:00pm – 12:00am dancing with the Mystic DJ.

You are welcome to join all Alumni in the large dining room to enjoy the entertainment. (There will be some tables set aside for the Golden Alumni.) We would also like to encourage you to bring along memorabilia to share during this time.

We hope that you and your guest can join us at your 2008 class reunion. As you know, I try to mail an invitation to all known Golden Alumni each year but I often do not get a response. If you no longer want to receive an invitation, or if you are not able to attend and have a message that you’d like me to convey to your classmates, I’d appreciate a note/ reply. The price of stamps makes this a very costly event.

The price of the dinner is $35.00 /per person, including tax and gratuities. RSVP with your remittance by July 1, 2008. Please print and complete the application form, make your check payable to LMCS Alumni and mail it to Gloria Smith.
